I bought this since I've gained some weight and couldn't fit into my old jackets. Based on other reviews and wanting more room to move, I sized up (took my bust measurement and added 4" for ease). For reference I'm 5'3" and wearing a size 16 these days, and I got the 2x. I can lift my arms, the wrap style allows me to have some weight fluctuation but is still flattering, and it's fairly warm (I'd say good for 30-50ºF). A note: the tie on the waist is pretty high (like right below the bust high), so if you have a long torso this is probably not going to fit you well. Also, the cut is kind of a high/low style, so the back doesn't entirely cover my rear but still looks great.
