The fit is absolutely perfect! I am so in live with this purchase. Cole Han gets it right every time! Perfect “wiggle” room. Perfect color, its exactly what I was looking for!I wear layers as part of uniform at work. Would be nice to have jacket that give me rooms to be more warm.Warm and cozy - looks great. I love the design with inner half zip and collar (from lower waist to chin) then outer full length zipper (from knees to nose) and hood which spreads nicely over my shoulders when left open. Have worn it with hood up in 10-15 degrees F for 1-2 hours with just a long sleeve t-shirt and leggings underneath and stayed comfortably warm. Loses a star because the zippers are stiff and don’t flow easily - especially on the pockets.I come from a family of avid coat hoarders and so as I have moved away from having 10+ coats, I wanted 1 coat that would work for long winter walks and running errands.This is an awesome coat! I get compliments on it all the time when people notice the inner vest can be zipped without having the whole coat closed, works great when it's not quite freezing temps yet.I'm 5' 2'' and about 135 pounds, the bottom comes to right above my knee and boy does keeping part of your legs covered help greatly during wind chills.Hood is huge but I like it! It is great that it is removeable as well.If you're looking for 1 coat to wear in the midwest 4-5 months of the year, this one's it.PLUS I had to wash it recently and it held up like new, no issues there either!This is a lovely coat. I ordered two different ones an like the other one better so I've returned this. One of the major reason I liked the other one better was that zippers. They were catchy and I didn't like the zipper pockets, my had had to scratch by them when entering the pockets. Other than that this is a fine coat. very fitting and fancy.Now that I've had it for a year, it's gone from three stars to four. I still think the hood is ridiculous, but it's very practical and the jacket is extremely warm. Walking to work on the most bitterly cold days is a lot less unpleasant than it used to be.--The one I received was defective, so I may like it better once I get one that isn't. One of the drawstrings for the hood doesn't hold, which is a serious problem because the hood is enormous and won't stay up unless you cinch them up. But I wore it before discovering this defect, so here are my initial thoughts:The good:- Flattering (with the hood down)- Very warm without being bulky; you still have a waist and don't look like you're wearing a sleeping bag as outerwear- The navy is a nice color- Windproof- Sleeves are reasonable length -- don't go over my hands- Does not restrict your stride when walking fast the way some long jackets doThe bad:- The hood is just ridiculous up -- it's way too large and you look absurd; OTOH, it does leave lots of room for a hat/earmuffs/scarf- Cuffs of sleeves aren't tight enough -- on a windy day, they won't keep the cold out and the cuffs of my gloves kept slipping out of the sleeves- Zippers sometimes catch on the fabric- Pockets aren't large enoughGiven the very low price ($110) and that it fits well overall, I will probably keep the replacement when it comes. But I think there's a reason Cole Haan didn't sell out of this at full price. This is not a $300-$450 coat.To start off with the most important part, I ordered a medium. I’m 5’5 and around 140 lbs.I don’t have a tummy pouch but no matter what this coat made me look like I had one. It’s definitely warm but on the heavier side. The hood is gigantic and I couldn’t imagine being stuck with it on all the time. The sleeves are tight at the openings but there’s no separate lining to keep snow/wetness out. It felt tight in the armpit area. I got this color bc of the price. It’s nice but I would’ve preferred black. Over all this missed the mark for me based on my needs.Love, love, love it!Being a new immigrant, this is my first Canadian winter and this is one of the first winter coats that I bought. Though the temperatures are going to fall further, so far, I have put this coat on in up to -10°C and everytime I wear it, I literally sweat! So, I'm sure this is going to keep me warm enough in the -30s and -40s as well! Bring it on, Winters! I'm ready for you!Size-wise, I am an L but had to order a size up because L was not available at the time and I really liked this coat so had to get it! It was more like love at first sight! Moreover, for additional layers when the temperature falls further, I'm going to need that extra room in there. So, not a bad decision to get a bigger size.sized up based on earlier reviews and am glad i did because the shoulder/arms just fit but the waist and body were huge. material is very thin (not sure coat would be all that warm in -20 degree weather) and feels and looks cheaply made. pretty disappointed. looks good unzipped with the bib zipped up but not with the coat actually zipped up in the front (if that makes sense). collar/neck is very high and looks nice which is a plus.I love this coat - the hood can be cinched tighter to protect from cold and high winds, it has a nice fit and I love the inner jacket. My only issue is that while I can normally wear medium, in this coat this size is tight across the shoulders and only thin clothes can be worn underneath. Unfortunately I have to return because of the small fit.I love this coat !! So much so that I bought a second one after the first was ruined by the hospital staff after they cut it off me.But as with the fist one. The zipper sucks. Unless you carefully hold it a certain way it gets stuck on the fabric that's sewn to it where it's attached to the coat. And that includes the pocket zipper as well as both front zippers.But I love this coat so much that despite me knowing this I bought it againGood coat,very (very) warm, somewhat flattering with defined waist. But I was surprised that the zipper, which was never smooth, started to pull away from the fabric after only three weeks of use. I will have to hand-sew it, which is a pain.
