I bought this after doing A LOT of research on roof racks for my 2015 Jeep Compass. I wanted to buy a Thule roof rack system but I couldn't bring myself to spend the $500. These are silver in color with a rubber black strip going down the middle(for grip I suppose). I read reviews that they are loud when driving 60+mph. This is only the case if you have the moon roof open. When driving with the moon roof closed I can not even tell that they are up there. They are quite noisy when the roof is open though. The install took me about 45 minutes. If you have a stepstool and a tape measurer you can do it yourself. The package includes all of the hardware and an allen wrench. If you had the same size allen wrench attachment for a power drill the install time would probably be cut in half. This rack is overall a good value for the price, very sturdy and easy to install. I wish that they were solid black but they look ok with the silver. The racks have one set position for the front and rear bar, I wish I could move them on my own. If you want a good, affordable rack then this will definitely fit the bill.I bought this roof rack 2 years ago and I'm still so satisfied. In the box came the two racks, all screws needed, instructions and I believe a small hex wrench as well. Instillation was a breeze with the simple instructions. The only difficult part was lining up the holes to get the screws in. Fits perfectly on top my 2013 Jeep Compass with the manufactured OEM holes on roof. The instructions say that when not in use you should remove the racks, however I've left them on over 2 years and no sign of loosening even after trips with skis, snowboards and a canoe. Great investment for the price.Easy installation. Fit as indicated. In fact, the primary reason for the purchase to add my kayak rack and the installation on and off is so easy my husband did it on his own and before the snow started in Michigan, he took them off with my kayak rack in place so we don't have to measure it all out again in the spring. Love the ease and versatility.Item as described. Arrived quickly. Easy install. Simple instructions. Holes lined up. Looks great. Very happy. Highly recommend.Genuine Mopar. You can find the 'knock-offs' for a bit less but I do not believe the quality is equal to these. I intend to keep my Jeep for many years so the cost difference over many years is insignificant.Happy with this product as it worked great with a Jeep 2011 Compass. Install takes some time, but the screws matched perfectly with the OEM screws holes in the Compass. Spent about 1.5 hours on the install. It would go much quicker with an alan wrench attatchement on a power drill.Perfect fit, once I realized the attachment points are adjustable. They look great too! No reason to spend 2 or 3 times this cost for Thule bars.2015 Jeep Compass
