I took this jacket on a hike in New Zealand and it POURED rain - the hardest rain I've ever seen - for the entire 3ish hour hike. My pants were soaked through to the bone, my shoes were filled with water, my socks had to be wrung out, but my top half was 100% dry because of this jacket! My friends' raincoats had failed them, but this one stayed true. Very lightweight and packs down super small so great for travel as I was using it for, and also super breathable: some rain jackets make you sweat because of the waterproof fabric, but this one is great on that front!Some comments have mentioned sizing being an issue - I bought mine in a store (Sears) so I was able to try it on before purchasing, but in terms of sizing I will say that it was very flattering! Definitely recommend this jacket!
