Works well to protect agains spills and such on table tops. Any teak outdoors will require regular attention and the clear coat makes refinishing more difficult. That must be why no one ever recommends using it everywhere. It is well worth the effort in cases of heavy use. The finish is relatively subtle rather than high gloss. Not too difficult to apply. Just follow the manufactures directions, especially letting ti dry 8 hours between coats. I very lightly sanded with 600 grit wet/dry sand paper between coats and the result is a nice smooth surface.
